London Spring Drinks 2013

With spring fast approaching it's about time we got together and had a couple of drinks!  We are going to visit The Porcupine, with an impressive lineup of hand pulled award winning real ales there is sure to be something for everyone. It's right next to the northen exit of Leicester Square tube, and only a short walk from our Christmas venue in Covent Garden.

London Christmas Drinks 2012

It's that time of year once again and our Christmas celebration is fast approaching!

We will follow the normal format of drinking, accompanied by essential eating, with the main event starting at 6pm in P&J as usual. A little piece of Germany has returned to Leeds with the popular Christkindelmarkt once again in Millennium Square, Calverley Street, LS2 3AD.

Open daily from:

10.30am to 9.30pm* Monday to Saturday
10.30am - 7.30pm Sundays
* Selected stalls open until 10.30pm (last orders for licensed stalls at 10.15pm) 

Simon Weathers - Ex-IBM Living Legend

After nearly 40 years Simon has recently retired from IBM! After a varied career with Big Blue, including assignments in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Brazil, Simon spent the last three years as a project executive in the business continuity and resiliency services division of IBM. A cherrished memory, given his keen interest in sport, will surely be from the 1996 Olympic Games when he was part of the team in Atlanta, Georgia.


Simon is now in the market for roles associated with the Rugby World Cup in England in 2015 and the Open Golf Championship at Hoylake in 2014. Having served his time in technology, Simon is not really interested in IT related opportunities, and instead wants to combine his interests with his skills in man and event management.

He's always up for a beer so if you are in the North-East be sure to get in touch!

The fourth Ethical Security Testing (EST) conference will be held at Royal College of Surgeons, London WC2 on the 20th March 2013. The event is open to CREST member companies and all members of the UK professional security community. This year's conference is running in parallel with the IISP event providing delegates with access to a wider range of technical subjects.
