London Social on National Poetry Day - 16 August 2013

Water, water, everywhere

Nor any drop to drink

But plenty of beer, and good cheer

Are found where City Club meet

With summer passing quickly by

It's time we gathered while still dry

On National Poetry Day it is

But the Water theme we will dismiss

No Mariner's tales, but plenty of ales

Great company and good friends

Join us for a couple before pubs close

And I promise to revert to prose!

We are meeting at The Tottenham, boasting an impressive line up of hand pulled award winning real ales there is sure to be something for everyone. It's right next to Tottenham Court Road tube on the north west corner of the Oxford Street / Tottenham Court Road junction.
