InfoSec 2014 Drinks

Despite the tube strike we will be holding the usual drinks meeting on Tuesday evening for those that can make it, although it might be the earliest finish on record. TfL hope that parts of the District line will continue to operate until around 9pm.

London Late Summer Social - 18 September 2013

A reminder that we are meeting on Wednesday evening this week.

Please note the venue is now Leicester Square and not Bank as originally billed. We'll be meeting from around 6pm for a few drinks and will move on for something to eat around 8pm. The pub is right next door to the Odeon so easy to find, and this week's premier isn't until Thursday so shouldn't be any problems getting in to the pub. We will try to grab some tables just inside the door on the right.

Water, water, everywhere

Club Meeting : Thursday, 18th October

We are back in the City this month, at another old haunt - Bangers. Betwixt Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations this should be easy for most to get to. We will move on to enjoy the delights of the Punjab before it gets too late, giving those who are travelling out of town plenty of time to get their connections from this central location.

City Roots

Despite the tube strike, we had a good turn out last week for our gathering in Moorgate and it was great to see a few old faces that have been absent for a while. Davy's Old Wallop proved as popular as always, although I think some had forgotten how potent it can be... several reports of Thursday being "difficult"!

A number of us enjoyed a curry at Mehek and a night cap at The Globe. Some unusual dishes were ordered by the more adventurous - although "special", the Squab did leave Jeremy feeling somewhat cheated due to its small size! Next month we sample the hidden treasure at the Punjab, Dave promises we won't be disappointed.

Southbank Special

Monday evening saw the first south of the river gathering with some fine ales at the George Inn, and a fantastic meal at Hiba. This truely is a fantastic restaurant, and future events now have to live up to the high expectations set! If you have a suggestion for great food at cheap prices let us know! The next regular meeting has delights in store....

Infosec 2007 Gathering - Tuesday 24 April

For those not at the SC Awards, the rest of us will be meeting for beer after Infosec closes on Tuesday evening... more details to follow.

For those not officially invited to the Infosec exhibitors party on Wednesday... security is going to be tough this year following the breach of fire limit last year!

Snow stops play!

First dribble of snow and everything goes to pieces! Many members called to say they couldn't make it due to the snow, only a few called to say they could! Unable to get a flight back from Dublin to London I'll be having a few at the airport! I'll get another date organised shortly, and hope for better weather!

Christmas 2006

Another year gone, it's hard to believe! This year has seen a good many changes, and 2007 looks set to be full of surprises too. It was great to see familiar faces, and those that had to cancel were noticeably absent.
